Today, Daedalic Entertainment announced that the point-and-click adventure game Chaos on Deponia will finally be making its way to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One when it launches on both consoles next week, on December 6.
For those that don’t know, Chaos on Deponia is a point-and-click game that released for the PC way back in 2012. A sequel to the 2012 Deponia, the game puts the players in the shoes of Rufus, a character that must explore the world of the game, and much like other point-and-click games, collect objects and solve puzzles in order to help Rufus escape from his home planet. Players won’t have to have played the original game in order to understand what’s happening in Chaos on Deponia, but should they want to, the original Deponia is already available on the PlayStation 4.

The game tells a unique, self-contained story playable without further knowledge of the first installment. Fans of the first game discover new aspects of familiar characters’ backgrounds and questions from the previous game finally become answered. In addition, the controls have been completely reworked for this release, meaning the main character Rufus can be controlled directly, intensifying the gaming experience even further.
Chaos on Deponia is set to release on December 6, 2017 for the PlayStation 4.
