To celebrate the upcoming release of the Justice League film, Warner Bros. Interactive has revealed that special Justice League-themed game events for the fighting game Injustice 2 and its mobile version will be released. Players on both console and mobile devices will be able to take on unique challenges to earn gear from the Justice League film.
According to Warner Bros. Interactive, the Justice League film gear will be attainable for those who complete the various multiverse challenges that have gone live through the multiverse portal. The events seem to be themed around the various Justice League members, with the first being the Flash, and players will have to complete five different events in order to unlock the heroes gear. As with any challenge in the game, make sure whatever character you’re using is nice and trained up, as you’ll be fighting some powerful opponents en route to the gear.

Injustice 2 may have the best single-player campaign of any fighting game. NetherRealm has hit a solid groove with their fighting games. A few new blocking mechanics help to add a touch more balance to the game’s environmental damage options, and the loot system is second to none. Microtransactions are always a tricky issue with any game, but by sticking to cosmetic items, purchases using additional cash aren’t necessary in order to get full enjoyment out of the game. Fighting game and DC fans alike should add this game to their collection as soon as possible.
