Additional Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet multiplayer gameplay has been shown. While it was debuted a few weeks ago, we now have new details on just what it’ll entail. There’ll be two different multiplayer modes: competitive and cooperative. Competitive play will feature two teams of four battling to see who can inflict the most damage to a boss character. Meanwhile, cooperative play has players trying to complete objectives similarly to past SAO game. The video also shows off a character called Itsuki, who is a “new original character to the game who is regarded as one of the most famous top players in “Gun Gale Online” and is loved for his looks and communication skills.”

SWORD ART ONLINE: FATAL BULLET includes eight-player competitive and four-player cooperative online multiplayer modes:
Online Battle – Up to eight players are divided into Alpha and Bravo teams and compete to cause the most damage to a boss character that populate the map. Threats come from all angles as players manage their time damaging boss character while also denying the other team from scoring points.
Online Cooperative Battle – Four players and their ArFA-sys support characters team up to take down the enemy boss. Players must make use of their unique skills and carefully consider their roles as they complete their objective.
Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet will be available on February 23 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
