Battlefield 1 owners are getting a treat this November as Electronic Arts and developer DICE are making Nivelle Nights, which was previously a bonus map for Premium Pass and They Shall Not Pass owners, available for all players. No exact timeframe was given, but it’ll become available in “early November.” The map takes place on the “muddy battlefields around Malmaison and Soupir,” and players play as either the French or German army.
Here’s the official Battlefield 1 Nivelle Nights map announcement from Electronic Arts:
Based on these century-old events, the Nivelle Nights bonus map has been an intense night experience for Battlefield 1™ Premium Pass and Battlefield 1 They Shall Not Pass owners since its release. Now, we have an exciting announcement about the map: Nivelle Nights will be made available for all Battlefield 1 players*.
Starting early November, you can tackle the muddy battlefields around Malmaison and Soupir as the French or German army. Make good use of the moon, the searchlights, and the artillery lighting up the dark night skies.
Enjoy the map – and own the night.
Electronic Arts also revealed that Operation Campaigns are coming in “early November.” The first of these will be the Eastern Storm. It’ll combine the two Operations from Battlefield 1 In the Name of the Tsar (Brusilov Offensive and Red Tide). Players that own either the game’s Premium Pass or In the Name of the Tsar will be able to play it.
Battlefield 1 is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Operation Campaigns will become available in “early November.”
