Watch the Guardians of the Galaxy Episode 4 Trailer Before It Releases Next Week

Players won’t have to wait long for the next installment in Telltale Games’ Guardians of the Galaxy. The developer announced today that Guardians of the Galaxy episode four will release on October 10, 2017. Called “Who Needs You,” the episode will pick off from where the last episode of the sci-fi adventure game ended.

Check out the official Guardians of the Galaxy episode four description, and watch the new trailer below:

With the fate of the Eternity Forge decided, the Guardians are left more bitterly divided than ever. But this growing tension is temporarily sidelined by a more pressing problem: escaping a dark and treacherous cavern before they all get eaten alive. As the cave’s hidden threats creep closer, Star-Lord must hold his crew together if he hopes to keep everyone safe. Safety, however, may ultimately come at a terrible cost…

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series - EPISODE FOUR TRAILER

For more on the series, check out our Guardians of the Galaxy episode three review. Here’s what I had to say about the episodic adventure:

I had a great time playing through episode three, but I do have to note that the combat scenes are growing a bit stale. Despite some excellent choreography, it still comes down to waiting to hit some button prompts. None of the gameplay variation seen in Batman: The Enemy Within appears here, and that makes the action seem like more of a middling affair. It’s not a negative (as the scenes are still a ton of fun to watch unfold), but it’s a missed opportunity.

Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy has been circumventing my expectations ever since the crew killed Thanos in the very first episode, and that trend continued here. I really have no clue where the series will go next, and that leaves me excited. I’m more than happy to be along for the ride with Star Lord and his ragtag crew.

Guardians of the Galaxy episode four is set to release October 10, 2017.
