Happy Dungeons Urges You to Get Happy, Releasing Today!

Happy Dungeons

Developer Toylogic has announced that free-to-play, multiplayer action RPG, Happy Dungeons, will be hitting North America and Europe today on the PlayStation 4. To celebrate the release, Toylogic is rewarding PlayStation Plus members with 50 Happy Jewels for life.

In Happy Dungeons, the game allows you to play local split screen with real life friends or online with up to three people, as you hack and slash your way through loot filled dungeons. You can pick from either a Warrior, Mage, and Cleric and the game has over 1,700 unique weapons and items to help customize your characters.

If you are on the fence, you can check out our open beta preview here, where Tyler Treese had the following to say about his unique experience with the game.

I do have to give Happy Dungeons credit for being supremely weird, though. After chopping my way through several dungeon floors filled with enemies, I was transported to a new floor that had a fountain that would restore my character’s health. That’s normal enough, but in this case the fountain gained its liquid from a dog urinating. That’s right. You gain health by soaking yourself in dog piss. That’s extremely metal, and absolutely rules in my book.

Now if you don’t read that and scream to yourself, “I have to try this out!”, then there is something wrong. With the game being free, there really isn’t much reason not to jump right in and bathe yourself in a vat of dog urine. Come on, you know you want to!

Will you be trying Happy Dungeons out later today and if so, let us know in the comments what you think.
