NBA 2K18 typically has a free demo that players can check out before 2K’s basketball sim releases, and this year will be no different. The publisher announced today that NBA 2K18 The Prelude will release this Friday, September 8. Players will be able to download the demo as soon as it goes live on the PlayStation Store at noon eastern, and will be able to check out one of the game’s newest features: The Neighborhood. The new mode is a “shared world” that allows players to “experience the life of an NBA athlete, both on the court and off.”
