There’s been another fighter announced for Dissidia Final Fantasy NT! This time we’ll be seeing Ultimecia in action. Ultimecia is the villain from Final Fantasy VIII, and has been in previous Dissidia titles.
Here is Ultimecia’s reveal trailer, which also shows off a lot of her moveset:
Ultimecia is a ranged character, using magical weapons to attack and keep foes at bay. While it seems as though she uses all types of magic, Ultimecia seems to favor throwing magical swords at her enemies the most.
Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is expected to release January 30 on the PlayStation 4. Be sure to learn more about the different versions of the game:
Meanwhile, there are four separate SKUs of the game, with the most expensive being the $189.99 Ultimate Collector’s Edition. It features a 8.25″ tall figure of the Warrior of Light, a 15 track soundtrack, an 80-page artbook, the game’s season pass, and a unique box & SteelBook case. Other editions include the physical SteelBook Brawler Edition ($59.99), which is the standard physical pre-order version, the digital version (which comes with a mini-soundtrack and Nameless Warrior DLC), and the digital deluxe edition which has the season pass attached to it for $84.99.
