Quake-Con Sale
-
Games Worth Buying During the Quake-Con Sale
-
Dishonored 2
Price: $29.99
Why: One of the most high-profile releases of 2016 is now 25% off. Dishonored 2 provides more of the stealth action that players have come to expect from the original, and it's worth buying for fans of the series.
-
DOOM
Price: $20.09
Why: DOOM owns, and $20 for the entire package (which includes all of its now free DLC) is a steal. It's one of the best FPS campaigns in recent memory, and is some of the best action you can find on PS4.
-
The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind
Price: $40.19
Why: While it launched as a pretty middling MMO, The Elder Scrolls Online has constantly been improved over the years. The recent Morrowind update is excellent, and the 33% off entry point is a very tempting offer.
-
Fallout 4
Price: $20.09
Why: Fallout 4 has been improved a lot since it launched with many issues, and those that waited will get a nice 33% discount as well as a better playing game. The title's DLC is also on-sale.
-
Fallout: New Vegas Lonesome Road
Price: $5.99
Why: The DLC for the best Fallout game is currently super cheap, and those that missed out the first time will want to pick up Lonesome Road and its counterparts.
-
Fallout 3: Mothership Zeta
Price: $2.99
Why: If you never got around to playing Fallout 3's downloadable content then the cheap prices during the Quake-Con sale should get you to finally bite. They're all pretty fun, and Mothership Zeta might be the most out-there piece of DLC for the popular title.
-
Prey
Price: $29.99
Why: It's understandable that players were weary about Prey when it launched, but at 50% there hasn't been a better time to dive into the horror first-person shooter. Fans of System Shock and BioShock will likely find a lot to enjoy here.
-
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition
Price: $29.99
Why: Those that put hundreds of hours into Skyrim probably didn't want to spend another $60 on the enhanced PS4 version, but now it's half off. It was a special title on last-gen systems, and it still rivals the best that the PS4 has to offer.
-
The Evil Within
Price: $4.99
Why: The Evil Within is not a horror game without its problems, but at 75% off it's hard not to recommend. Those that are intrigued by its upcoming sequel will find it worth spending a fiver on.
-
Wolfenstein: The New Order
Price: $14.99
Why: If you're like me then you want to punch some Nazis right about now. Thankfully, Wolfenstein: The New Order is 25% off, and it'll provide just the therapeutic experience that players want.
