Songs We Want In Persona 5: Dancing Star Night

There are a number of reasons why the Persona series has become one of the most beloved role-playing game series in the past decade. From the memorable storylines to the great characters, the series has won over the hearts of many passionate gamers. Another series standout are the game’s soundtracks, as they feature some incredibly catchy tunes. So much so, that two more rhythm games are being made: Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night.

There are dozens of great songs from the Persona 5 soundtrack, but the jazz-influenced soundtrack has less “danceable” songs than past installments in the series. That means that the song selection will definitely be interesting, and we’d love it if the following 10 tracks made it into the upcoming rhythm game. If they don’t make it into Persona 5: Dancing Star Night, then we’ll throw a fit, and buy the game anyway like any good fan.

Check out what Persona 5: Dancing Star Night songs we’d like to see included in the slideshow below (for even more, check out our picks for Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night). We’ve included links to all of the jams, so you can give them a listen yourself!

Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night is the follow-up to Persona 4: Dancing All Night, a rhythm game spin-off of the RPG series that released for PlayStation Vita. To learn more about the spin-off, check out our review:

As someone who isn’t the biggest fan of rhythm games, I was a bit timid when I first installed the game for review. However, my fears were quickly removed by one of the most intoxicating soundtracks around and possibly one of the greatest cast of characters assembled. Sure, the story wasn’t the best I have seen in a P4 universe, but it was still intriguing enough to push things along at a smooth pace. The gameplay is where things really shined however, as this game is just fun to play, and that’s what you want in a rhythm game. Fans of the series or not, Persona 4: Dancing All Night has all the right moves.

Persona 3: Dancing Moon Night and Persona 5: Dancing Star Night will release Spring 2018 in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Disappointingly, there will be no story mode, but a mysterious new mode will replace it.
