At gamescom 2017, Ubisoft (hall 6.1, Booth B020) will have playable demos of Assassin’s Creed Origins, Far Cry 5, South Park: The Fractured But Whole, The Crew 2, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, and the new seasons of Rainbow Six Siege and For Honor, the company announced today. This will be its biggest lineup yet.
Ubisoft will also have “exclusive presentations, news, demos, trailers and giveaways” at the event, stage performances for Just Dance 2018, the Rainbow Six Pro League Season 2 Finals, and more. Also, by playing a game at their booth, you’ll receive in-game rewards for some of their titles from the Ubisoft Club.
Ubisoft’s Leon Winkler talked about their goal at gamescom:
We want to interact and engage with as many players as possible. This is one of the reasons why we will have the most game stations we ever had at gamescom. Besides letting people experience our worlds while playing our games, we will extend the experience by providing immersive activations that are in line with the different game worlds we have. For example, to show our appreciation for the art of cosplay and to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Assassin’s Creed we will have a lineup of eight different AC costumes on display created by world renowned cosplayer Rick Boer. We’ll also have photo opportunities, the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Pro League Season 2 finals, goodie hunts and some spectacular Just Dance shows on our main stage.
On Twitter, Assassin’s Creed Origins Game Director Ashraf Ismail teased that “you can expect some new stuff” from the game. He also pointed towards this 18-minute Origins gameplay walkthrough from IGN, which was played on an Xbox One X:
gamescom 2017 runs from August 22 to 26.
