Demo for Psychological Adventure The Town of Light Now Available on PS Store

Developer LKA.it and publisher Wired Productions have released a demo for their psychological adventure, The Town of Light, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The companies aim to help raise awareness of mental illness by allowing players to try the game out for free.

The Town of Light follows the story of 16-year old Renée who suffers from symptoms of mental illness. Players are tasked with exploring the place where she spent most of her youth in search for answers to questions about her past.

“Mental health is a current issue that should be raised to understand further, and we’re pleased to do our part by offering a teaser of The Town of Light to raise awareness of the struggles of real people,” said Wired Production’s Managing Director, Leo Zullo. “We hope gamers take the opportunity to get their hands on the demo, and then eagerly look to finish the journey that they started, in the full game.”

In his review, PlayStation LifeStyle’s Blake Grundman noted that The Town of Light touches on a subject matter “that doesn’t get near enough attention” while praising the game for its storytelling. You can read the full review here.
