Update: Replying to us on Twitter, Stauffer said, “I worry about people getting their hopes up in the wrong direction. He may be of very few words, but Adam also voices Groot in our GotG. :)”
He later added, “We’d KILL to step back into that world some day & we know our fans would too. Your voices & your passion will never go unheard here at [Telltale Games].”
Original Story: On Twitter over the weekend, Telltale Games teased that they’d have some news to share during San Diego Comic-Con, which runs from Thursday, July 20 to Sunday, July 23. It appears as though one of those announcements could be for The Wolf Among Us Season 2, as Adam Harrington, who voiced Bigby and Woodsman in Season 1, retweeted Telltale’s tweet.
Telltale does have a history of using the same voice actor across multiple games (such as Dave Fennoy), so it could be that Harrington’s a part of a different Telltale game, but The Wolf Among Us Season 2 does seem like the obvious option.
If you were hoping for a Tales From the Borderlands Season 2 announcement at SDCC, Job Stauffer, Head of Creative Communications, said, “As we’ve said before, we LOVE that project w/ all of our hearts, but the next entry in the @Borderlands story will be from @GearboxSoftware.”
Other potential announcements in the Summer Update could include Game of Thrones Season 2, Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 Episode 2’s release date, or details on the next Guardians of the Galaxy episode. It remains to be seen if it’s from Telltale, but a rating recently popped up for something called Batman: The Enemy Within Season Pass.
Would you want The Wolf Among Us Season 2?
