The biggest new release last week in Japan was Gundam Versus for PlayStation 4, which sold more than 121,000 copies and outperformed the #2 title, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, by more than 108,000.
While PS4 hardware sales did rise slightly week-over-week, the Nintendo Switch remained the best-selling system, beating the PS4 by 3,550 units.
