ELEX studio Piranha Bytes has said that although Xbox One X’s price tag is reasonable for what it offers, a PlayStation 4 Pro price drop could be troublesome for the console. In an interview with Wccftech, the developers were asked what they thought of Microsoft’s new hardware and its price, to which they said:
Well, it’s cheap for what’s inside. The big question is whether people are really going to pay that much and if the PlayStation 4 Pro goes down to $350, it could become a huge problem. Hardware wise, the Xbox One X is a very nice machine, no doubt.
Elsewhere, Piranha Bytes said that ELEX will run at 1080p on PS4. The game will also support PS4 Pro but enhancements aren’t finalized yet and the studio isn’t sure if it can add them in time for launch.
ELEX releases on October 17 this year for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
