Beyond Good & Evil 2 PS4, Xbox One & PC Release Suggested By Website

Beyond Good & Evil 2 was officially unveiled at E3 2017, but the announcement trailer didn’t feature any platforms. According to the Space Monkey Program website though, it will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

After signing up on the Beyond Good & Evil website, you’re asked to select your preferred platform, and the options are PC, PS4, Xbox One. However, writing on Instagram, Michel Ancel said, “Hi, that registering thing is a little buggy as we did not mention any consoles yet . The Ubi Soft teams are going to fix this asap.”

While Ancel wouldn’t confirm if Beyond Good & Evil 2 is indeed coming to the mentioned platforms on the website, he did say, “Hi, no Switch exclusive as far as I know.” This is in response to a previous rumor that the new game would be a timed-exclusive on Nintendo Switch.

In addition to sharing this work-in-progress off-screen image of Beyond Good & Evil 2, Ancel addressed the fact that he suggested it wouldn’t be at E3 2017. “I said it was maybe not the best place, but my colleagues convinced me,” he wrote.

On the Ubi Blog, Ancel said:

We know the expectations for Beyond Good and Evil 2 are enormous. We’re creating a sci-fi space opera, a game where players fight for freedom alongside unforgettable characters and explore a stunning and vast solar system, all while capturing the spirit of Beyond Good and Evil.

By signing up for the Space Monkey Program, you’ll get to “take part in the adventure of developing Beyond Good & Evil 2!”
