Metro Exodus Will Not Have Any Exclusive Content or Features on Any Platform

When Metro Exodus was unveiled during Microsoft’s E3 2017 press conference, many publications jumped to report it as either an Xbox One exclusive or a timed exclusive, prompting fans to take to Twitter to quiz developer 4A Games on the matter. Turns out, the game isn’t an exclusive (not even a timed one) and was merely being showcased at the event.

In a follow-up interview with Geoff Keighley, which is embedded above for you, 4A has made it clear that it doesn’t believe in exclusivity and will not be releasing any content or features specifically for one platform, and that includes the newly announced Xbox One X.

“We’re not planning to carve off any content,” executive producer John Bloch clarified.

Good news for fans of the series!

Metro Exodus will be out next year for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. In case you missed it, you can catch the announcement trailer here.
