Yet Another Listing for Standalone Version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Pops Up

Amazon Japan has joined the list of websites that have added Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered‘s unannounced standalone version in their catalogs for a June release.

First spotted by Twitter user Wario64, the listing suggests that the PlayStation 4 version of the title is releasing on June 20, which is in line with previous leaks by US game rental service GameFly and two German retailers who later removed their listings.

Interestingly, Amazon Japan lists the Xbox One version for release on July 20, exactly a month after the PS4 is supposed to get it.

Activision hasn’t confirmed or denied anything yet but we’re guessing that there’ll be an announcement shortly before or during E3 2017. The publisher’s move of bundling Modern Warfare Remastered with Infinite Warfare was met with criticism but many believed that there would be a standalone release eventually.

At this point, it’ll be surprising if all these reports are false.
