Elite: Dangerous Coming to PS4 on June 27

Frontier Developments has announced that its space adventure Elite: Dangerous is coming to the PlayStation 4 on June 27, both digitally and at retail.

The boxed version of the game, called the Legendary Edition, will include the base game, Horizons expansion and 1,000 Frontier points. This edition will also be available for the Xbox One.

Last December, Frontier said that the game will come with the following features for the DualShock 4:

  • Touch Navigation – Explore Elite Dangerous’ map of the Milky Way with a swipe using touch pad controls that make navigation fast and easy.
  • Extra Control – Customize four additional touchpad ‘hotkeys’ to suit your own play style.
  • Fast Headlook – Quickly track your enemies in the heat of combat with optional motion-based headlook controls powered by the DualShock 4 wireless controller.

Elite: Dangerous will also support the PS4 Pro.

Those who want to pre-order the game digitally will be able to do so via the PS Store starting May 30.
