Unlocking all characters (including Ed) and letting you test out the new and improved Capcom Fighters Network, the Street Fighter V CFN Beta Test client is now available to download for free from the PlayStation Store (North America, Europe). A PlayStation Plus membership is required to access the beta, and the download size is 8.2GB.
The Beta Test starts today at 6pm PT/9pm ET and ends on Sunday, May 14 at 6pm PT/9pm ET. It includes cross-play with PC, and you don’t need a copy of Street Fighter V to access it.
As the description points out, everything earned during the beta will be deleted:
Test out the new Capcom Fighters Network! Available 05.11 – 05.14.2017. All released characters are unlocked for play and since the purpose of the test is to try out the improved online infrastructure, only online modes have been enabled for play.
- All data recorded during the beta is for testing purposes only and once the beta has concluded, all replays, Fight Money earned, progress and player data will be deleted.
- Server availability is subject to change.
- A PS Plus membership is required in order to participate in the Beta Test.
Will you be participating in the beta?
