Update: Atlus says, “Good news! The delay has been short-lived and #TheCaligulaEffect is now available in Europe!”
Original Story: Early this morning (UK time), Atlus USA announced that The Caligula Effect for PlayStation Vita had suffered another delay in Europe, wouldn’t release today as planned, and a new release date was TBD:
Those in the EU who wish to break free from the virtual prison Mobius will have to wait a bit longer because Europe’s The Caligula Effect launch has been delayed. The game will be available as a digital download PS Vita title and we’ll have news of a new release date in the future.
However, as many people discovered soon after, The Caligula Effect is now live on the European PlayStation Store for £32.99. It’s been up for several hours and one player who purchased it says the game started without a problem.
Atlus has yet to comment on The Caligula Effect being live on the EU PlayStation Store.
The Caligula Effect is available as a digital-only title in the West, and you can read our review over here.
