Confirmed for Injustice 2 in last month’s ‘Here Come the Girls‘ trailer, Cheetah was given a full gameplay trailer today, where she faces off against Wonder Woman, Deadshot, and Robin on a variety of stages.
“When archaeologist Barbara Ann Minerva betrayed Wonder Woman to claim the powers of a god, she was unaware that she would be cursed to live a life transformed as the Cheetah,” her description says. “She now uses her primal powers to take revenge against Wonder Woman, drawing her out of hiding in hopes of bringing about her doom.”
The next Injustice 2 character will be revealed on Thursday, March 23. After that, there’s still 13 more characters to be announced.
Injustice 2 releases on May 16 in North America and May 19 in Europe for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Pre-ordering gets you Darkseid, and there will be at least nine DLC fighters.
