Developer Tarsier Studios has confirmed on Twitter that Statik, their virtual reality puzzle-mystery game, is releasing on April 24, exclusively for PlayStation VR. The date first appeared on the European PlayStation Store, where Statik is available to pre-order for £15.99. PlayStation Plus members who pre-order will receive 20% off the regular price.
Here’s the description for Statik:
Statik is a VR game about solving puzzles in a place you don’t know, with a person you don’t recognise, and hands that aren’t completely yours.
Join Dr Ingen and his delightful assistant Edith on a journey to unravel the complexities of the human mind. Awaking to each new day with a unique, hand-mounted puzzle device to solve, you must use your brain, eyes and ears to solve each mystery. But, this being VR, it’s hard to know which of these can be trusted…
A North American price for Statik hasn’t been revealed yet, but $20 USD is likely.
Just a few days after Statik launches, Tarsier Studios will release Little Nightmares for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
