In a new video from UpUpDownDown, developer NetherRealm Studios has revealed that Firestorm is the latest character to join the Injustice 2 roster. Ed Boon makes the announcement of Firestorm at 4:50, there’s a brief gameplay clip at 5:30, and NetherRealm provides a deeper look at Firestorm beginning at 7:40.
Green Lantern and Green Arrow were revealed for Injustice 2 last week, but only Green Lantern has his description up on the official site so far:
Rehabilitated by the Guardians of Oa, Hal Jordan overcame his worst fears from his time as a member of the Sinestro’s Corps. Now a Green Lantern once more, Hal returns to Sector 2814 on a mission to stop Brainiac’s invasion and prove to himself that he deserves a second chance at a brighter day.
Injustice 2 hits PS4 and Xbox One on May 16 in North America and May 19 in Europe.
