PaRappa the Rapper Remastered, LocoRoco Remastered Given Dates & Prices By the PlayStation Store

According to new listings on the European PlayStation Store, PaRappa the Rapper Remastered is releasing on April 4 for PlayStation 4, and LocoRoco Remastered is releasing on May 9 for PS4. Both games are priced at £11.99 (typically equates to $14.99 USD), and PlayStation Plus members save 20% when pre-ordering.

Since Sony hasn’t officially announced release dates for PaRappa or LocoRoco, it’s possible they’re just placeholders for now. Placeholder dates on the PlayStation Store are nothing new, with Nex Machina developer Housemarque saying, “The game is slated for summer and [May 23] is the placeholder that we set.”

Here’s what the PlayStation Store says about PaRappa the Rapper Remastered and LocoRoco Remastered:

PaRappa the Rapper Remastered

This complete HD remaster of my acclaimed original PlayStation game features additional alternative audio tracks, dynamic 4K support for PS4 Pro and DualShock 4 controller vibration so you can really feel the beat – it’s gonna get rocky!

LocoRoco Remastered

The world is under attack from the dastardly Moja Corps, and only the cheerful tunes of the LocoRoco can stop them. Grow, bounce and roll your way through this classic puzzle platformer, remastered in stunning HD for PlayStation 4.

  • Split and merge your LocoRoco to solve puzzles, discover secrets and pick up new decorations for your very own Loco House.
  • Master the motion controls of your DualShock 4 to tilt your squishy friends through five vibrant areas.
  • Enjoy this charmingly unique world in 1080p on PS4 and in 4K on PS4 Pro.

When both of these titles – as well as the previously announced Patapon Remastered – have official release dates in both North America and Europe, we’ll let you know. In the meantime, don’t forget that there’s a free demo of PaRappa the Rapper Remastered on the PlayStation Store (North America, Europe).
