Playtonic Games and Team17 released a brand new trailer (above) for Yooka-Laylee today, showcasing some Glitterglaze Glacier gameplay.
Glitterglaze Glacier is one of the five in-game worlds, all of which are open for exploration and can be expanded to uncover new areas, puzzles, challenges, and a boss. In a press release, the developer wrote:
One of the many ways in that Yooka-Laylee offers player choice is the way the worlds appear in the game. Players may decide to progress and find more grand tomes to unlock or if they’re enjoying a particular world and want to spend more time engrossed within it, with increased difficulty, then they can use their collected pagies to expand the worlds opening up new areas for the dynamic duo to explore.
Yooka-Laylee comes out on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on April 11. For those who want an extended look at the game, folks over at IGN and Polygon have released new videos showing off the game’s opening level and more, so check them out.
