Mafia III’s “Faster, Baby!” DLC Arrives on March 28

Faster, Baby!, the first story expansion for Mafia III, is releasing on March 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, 2K and Hangar 13 announced today.

Beginning at 2:58 of the above video, you can see some of the new features being introduced with Faster, Baby!, including the ability to slow down time when you’re driving, toss explosives from your car, and use proximity mines. The DLC also includes some new vehicles and outfits, and the herbalism activity where you work with MJ to grow your criminal empire.

Set in the new area of Sinclair Parish, the story of Faster, Baby! sees Lincoln joining forces with Roxy Laveau, a “sister-in-arms out to take down a corrupt Sheriff terrorizing Civil Rights activists on the outskirts of New Bordeaux.” Hangar 13 adds that “the core game’s racket system won’t be there.”

When Faster, Baby! releases on March 28, it will be accompanied by “another large patch.” No details were given on what the patch will include.

At 5:15 of the video, Hangar 13 touches on the two remaining story DLCs: Stones Unturned (May 2017) and Sign of the Times (July 2017). Just like Faster, Baby!, these two expansions will include new areas.

Standalone prices for the story expansions weren’t given today, but they’re all included in the $29.99 USD Season Pass.
