If you weren’t able to download Steep‘s free Alaska DLC yesterday or were planning to do so this weekend, then you might want to note that Ubisoft has delayed the content by two weeks. A very brief announcement was posted on Ubisoft’s blog this past Thursday but it looks like it got buried under the avalanche (no pun intended) of financial reports, betas, and updates on other major releases. The developer wrote:
Our teams are always committed to bringing the best experience possible to all players. With this in mind, we are postponing the launch of our Alaska free game update to Feb 24th on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
In the meantime, you can watch a new teaser for the update above.
Ubisoft recently said that Steep, which released in December 2016, performed “slightly” higher than the company’s expectations. For more on the game, check out our previous coverage.
