Fallout 4 Update 1.9 Next Week Brings PS4 Pro Support

After delivering mod support in November, Bethesda will bring PlayStation 4 Pro support to Fallout 4 next week with the release of Update 1.9.

Once the update is live, PS4 Pro owners will be able to play Fallout 4 in native 1440p resolution, complete with enhanced lighting and graphic features, including enhanced Godray effects and enhanced draw distance for trees, grass, objects, and NPCs.

In addition to the Fallout 4 update next week, Skyrim Special Edition will also be updated, and Bethesda says, “Both games are bringing new features to Mod content (more on that next week).” The PC update for Fallout 4 will include support for the High-Resolution Texture Pack, which looks to be a 58GB download.

When the Fallout 4 and Skyrim Special Edition updates are live next week, we’ll let you know.
