Arc System Works has announced Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 for the PlayStation 3, PS4, PC and Arcade. The update will see an Arcade release in Japan first sometime in Spring this year, with a console release date to be announced. Nevertheless, you can check out a trailer above.
Rev 2 will add Baiken and Answer as playable characters (with episodes) alongside bringing balance adjustments and new moves for existing characters. There will be new episodes for Jam, Raven, Kum, and Dizzy as well. Story mode is getting a new scenario, changes are coming to the online mode, and there will be a free-to-play tutorial.
Those who already own Guilty Gear Xrd: Revelator on the aforementioned platforms will be able to update to Rev 2 as paid DLC. Arc System Works is also preparing an “affordable” retail and digital version for the PS4 in Japan.
