Following fan requests, Gun Media has revealed its first gameplay (above) of Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th, Part VI: Jason Lives in the upcoming horror game based on the series.
The developer also announced the inclusion of The Misfift’s hit song, Friday the 13th, in the game as it’s a fitting “tribute to 80’s horror and slasher films.”
Friday the 13th the Game is scheduled for release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC sometime in Q1 this year. While we don’t have an exact release date, Gun Media recently told fans on Twitter that the official release window “is and remains Early 2017.” In response to several fan questions, the studio also said that it doesn’t have plans for another beta or DLC at the moment but the developers “fully intend to support the game.”
We’ll update our readers when we have more information.
Anybody looking forward to this one?
