Bandai Namco Preparing to Share Details of Upcoming God Eater Console Project

During the Tokyo Game Show in September last year, Bandai Namco announced that it had a new God Eater console project in development. No further information was provided at the time but we know that it’s headed to the West as well since the company’s US Twitter account posted an English version of the teaser shown.

Producer Yusuke Tomizawa tweeted an update over the weekend, stating that Bandai Namco is gearing up for God Eater‘s seventh anniversary in February and will be sharing a lot of updates throughout the year. God Eater‘s official Twitter account added that it’s currently preparing information on the new project to share with fans. Here’s a translation of both tweets courtesy of Siliconera:

For those of you waiting for new developments relating to God Eater, we’ll have all kinds of updates this year. First, we’re preparing an opportunity to share the word with everyone sometime around [the series’] seventh anniversary in February, so please look forward to it.

As producer Tomizawa commented, we’re doing our best to prepare new information to share with you all, starting with the new console project [for God Eater] and God Eater Online. Thank you for your support this year as well!

All eyes on February, then!
