If you want to own Campo Santo’s Firewatch (our review here) on disc for your PlayStation 4, then now’s your chance to grab a copy. Folks over at Limited Run Games will be releasing the first batch of 7,300 units worldwide starting 10am Eastern Time tomorrow, December 16. We’re told that a second batch of discs will be made available at 6pm EST.
In order to discourage folks from grabbing copies for re-selling (we all know the eBay drill), Limited Run Games has warned that the item is limited to two discs per customer. Those who attempt to purchase more than that might find their orders cancelled.
If you’ve got a PS4 Pro, don’t forget that Firewatch now supports the following:
- 1080p Display – Enhanced detail distance, smoother loads, and much higher quality shadows
- 4K Display – The world is now rendered at WQHD (2560x1440p) and the UI renders at 4KUHD (3840×2160) and you will have enhanced level of detail of a standard PS4
