Her Majesty’s Spiffing, Feist, and Cursed Castilla are all releasing next week for PlayStation 4, developers Billy Goat Entertainment, Bits and Beasts, and Abylight Studios have revealed.
First up, Her Majesty’s Spiffing from Billy Goat Entertainment will go live on December 13 for PS4 (it should cost around $19 USD). A point-and-click comedy adventure game that sees you embarking on a galactic mission for the Queen of England to establish a new galactic empire, here’s what to expect:
Taking direct control of English with a gamepad in place of directing with a mouse, SPIFFING features a mixture of physical and mental puzzles and often somewhat self-deprecating humour (blatantly plagiarised from/paying homage to everything from Monty Python to Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy). In short, it’s about as British as a game can be, in that it deftly undermines everything we hold dear about coming from this damp collection of islands in the darkest corner of Europe from start to finish.
Action-platformer Feist from Bits and Beasts will also be available on December 13 for PS4, priced at $9.99 USD. Starring a fragile little fur creature trying to rescue its mate from a pack of predators, Feist includes enemies equipped with a complex AI:
The vivid world of Feist is brought to life by a highly dynamic and emergent gameplay. All elements interact with each other and produce unpredictable interactions. Enemies are armed with a complex AI and chase the player with the physical intensity of wild beasts – reminding him of how small he is.
Finally, Cursed Castilla from Abylight Studios and Locomalito will hit PS4 on December 16 for $11.99 USD/€11.99. A classic action-adventure arcade game, Cursed Castilla is set in the kingdom of Castilla and stars Don Ramiro as he tries to banish the evil invading Tolomera.
Will you be getting any of these games next week?
