PS4 Update 4.07 Now Out, System Performance Improved

It’s that time of the month again, people! Sony has rolled out PS4 update 4.07, and as one can expect from a sudden, unannounced PS4 firmware update, it doesn’t bring anything significant that can be seen right away.

Clocking in at just 312MB, this latest PS4 update’s changelog is said to improve the quality of the system performance. Or in other words, a stability update.

You can manually download the file here and load it via USB drive to your PS4. In other PS4 news, Sony has announced yesterday that the PS4 has crossed the 50 million sold-in mark. Sales have seen a significant uptick due to the PS4 Pro, which Sony says is “selling very well.” Those who just bought a PS4 or a PS4 Pro, don’t forget to check your PSN inbox as Sony has been sending $10 PSN credit to users.
