Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia has nailed down plans to host the PlayStation Awards 2016 on Tuesday, December 13 at 17:00pm JST (03:00am EST).
As opposed to staging world premieres in the vein of, say, The Game Awards, the annual PS Awards are designed to strictly honor the top-selling games across the Japan and Asia regions. A pre-show will be hosted an hour earlier, at 16:00 JST, and you’ll be able to watch the entire event via YouTube.
In related news, next weekend will herald Koei Tecmo’s “Greatest Lineup in History” showcase. Presented in association with PlayStation, the event will take place on December 17 from 18:00 to 21:30 JST (6:00am to 9:30am EST). According to Gematsu, the following titles will be in attendance:
