LEGO Worlds Launches on February 21, 2017 for PS4, Xbox One & PC

Released through Steam Early Access in 2015, LEGO Worlds will launch on February 21, 2017 in North America and February 24, 2017 in Europe for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Warner Bros and TT Games announced today.

Described as “a galaxy of imaginative worlds made entirely of digital LEGO bricks where players can explore, discover, and create together,” LEGO Worlds sees you going on a quest to become a Master Builder by helping other LEGO characters. The environments and creations are created by players, either by building them brick by brick, placing down pre-built LEGO structures, or using tools that let you paint and shape the landscape.

In addition to couch co-op, LEGO Worlds includes online multiplayer where you can explore other’s worlds together, create together, and “engage in co-operative and competitive play experiences that players can build themselves.”

TT Games Head of Production Jonathan Smith said:

In LEGO Worlds, players will go on an exciting journey to become a Master Builder, in an open-world made completely of LEGO-built environments. Whether customising characters, exploring in vehicles, building structures, or discovering an expansive range of items, characters and creatures throughout the worlds, there’s the freedom to create anything imaginable.

Currently undated, there will be a LEGO Agents DLC pack for LEGO Worlds that includes new characters, vehicles, weapons, and more from the Agents set, and it will be exclusive to PS4 for 90 days.

A price for LEGO Worlds wasn’t given today, but the Steam Early Access version is $14.99 USD.
