In a week that saw around 1.93 million games sold, it was FIFA 17 that came out on top in the UK, but if you combine the totals of Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon, it actually finished in second. It’s also worth noting that Sun and Moon combined have become Nintendo’s most successful UK launch, surpassing Wii Fit, and nearly doubling Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
Elsewhere on the chart, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare placed in 2nd, and it’s now the UK’s biggest shooter of 2016, having now overtaken Battlefield 1. Also, despite dropping by four places, Watch Dogs 2’s second week sales increased, thanks to some Black Friday discounts.
You’ll also notice the return of many older titles to the chart, including Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End in 8th and DriveClub in 20th (Ratchet & Clank placed in 25th), as they were included in some of the discounted PS4 bundles.
Here’s the top 20 best-selling games through retail stores in the UK for the week ending November 26, 2016, according to GfK Chart-Track:
