Calling it a “close battle,” GfK Chart-Track has revealed that Watch Dogs 2 opened in 2nd place last week, with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare repeating at #1 after “narrowly” fending off Ubisoft’s new title.
Although GfK doesn’t give out sales numbers publicly, NeoGAF has estimated that Infinite Warfare sold around 80,000 units last week, putting Watch Dogs 2 close to that same mark. For comparison, the first Watch Dogs saw opening week sales of 380,000.
Elsewhere, Assassin’s Creed: The Ezio Collection debuted in 10th, while Watch Dogs re-entered the chart in 40th.
Here’s the top 20 best-selling games through retail stores in the UK for the week ending November 19, 2016, according to GfK Chart-Track:
- Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (down 46%)
