In a busy week for new releases, it was Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization for PlayStation 4 that came out on top, moving 70,900 copies. The PlayStation Vita version was right behind it in 2nd with 69,600 sold, while World of Final Fantasy settled for 3rd and 4th on PS4 (53,200) and PS Vita (47,200), respectively.
Further down the software chart, Battlefield 1 moved 46,500 in its second week, Berserk and the Band of the Hawk for PS4 debuted in 6th with 28,200 sold, Titanfall 2 opened in 7th with 21,400 sold, and Mafia III finished in 9th with 15,800 sold.
Thanks to the new releases, PS4 sales rose by over 3,000 week-over-week to finish at 30,400, doubling sales of the New 3DS LL. The PS Vita also saw a sales increase, but it only managed to finish in 3rd with 10,400 sold.
