The Bethesda mod saga rages on today.
Falskaar, a sprawling landmass first created Alexander J. Velicky, is headed to The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Special Edition on Xbox One, but PS4 players will miss out on the user-created expansion as it contains outside assets. It’s the controversial caveat that has prevented a string of mods from making their way over, and given this one in particular touts upwards of 20 hours of content, PS4 owners would be forgiven for feeling hard done by.
Introducing additional characters, dungeons, and even a questline, the Falskaar add-on weighs in at around 600MB for Xbox One. It was one of the highest-rated mods to premiere on PC.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition launched late last week for PS4, but what do you make of this latest wrinkle to the mod saga?
