Even with the release of many big new titles, Battlefield 1 was able to repeat at #1 in the UK last week, dropping by just 39%. For comparison, Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4 both fell by 54% in their second week on the market.
Looking at those new releases, Skyrim Special Edition saw the highest debut, finishing in 2nd overall, while also seeing the 2nd highest launch week in series history (behind Skyrim in 2011). Titanfall 2 placed in 4th, but it failed to outsell the original Titanfall, despite the series appearing on PlayStation for the first time.
Elsewhere, Farming Simulator 17 opened in 5th, with sales up 54% on PS4 and 32% on Xbox One compared to Farming Simulator 15 (Farming Simulator 16 was only on PS Vita in the UK). Outside the top 20, Just Dance 2017 finished in 26th (44% of copies were sold on Wii, with another 16% on Wii U) and Minecraft: Story Mode The Complete Adventure followed in 31st.
