DriveClub Update 1.28 Today Is 6GB, Adds 15 New Tracks

Weighing in at 5.92GB, DriveClub update 1.28 is now live on PlayStation 4, adding the fifteen new urban tracks from DriveClub VR (our review). “The Urban Tracks update for #DriveClub rolls out today, bringing tracks from #DriveClubVR to the standard edition,” PlayStation Europe wrote on Twitter. “Update now & get racing.”

Here’s what the PS4’s Update History says about patch 1.28:

Adds fifteen new tracks, plus reverse variants: Gujo in Japan; Ashii in India; Iquique in Chile; Port of Vancouver in Canada; Bryggen in Norway. Thanks for your support. Thanks for your commitment. Farewell and enjoy the game!

Based on the ending of the message, it appears as though DriveClub won’t be receiving any future updates. Back in September, Game Director Paul Rustchynsky said they hadn’t been asked to add PS4 Pro support to DriveClub and it wouldn’t be happening. Today’s message looks to back up Rustchynsky’s earlier comment.

Will you be playing DriveClub today?
