Just like in the UK, Battlefield 1 opened at #1 last week in Japan, moving 113,000 copies on PlayStation 4 and easily defeating the second place title, Mario Party: Star Rush for 3DS, which sold 26,500 copies.
Media Create didn’t report PlayStation VR sales numbers in its second week on the market, so it was the PS4 that took home first place in hardware, dropping by 3,000 units week-over-week to finish at 27,100. The PS Vita placed in third after a small uptick in sales, while the PS3 continued to drop, remaining only 11 units ahead of the Xbox One.
