Just last week, THQ Nordic announced that the PlayStation 2 classic, Red Faction, was removed from Germany’s list of media harmful to young persons thirteen years after the game was added to it. The company seemed very excited to announce the news, mentioning in a statement that the decision will have an impact on the future and that THQ Nordic is currently holding “further discussions” with relevant authorities.
It looks like we now know what some of those discussions might be about. If a new listing by European rating board PEGI is anything to go by, Red Faction will be coming to the PS4. The game received an age rating of 16 for “realistic looking violence.”
“We will, of course, still be nurturing our extensive games portfolio that now comprises over 350 titles, and will do our utmost to ensure that gamers can play our games in future,” said THQ Nordic’s Publishing Director Jans Binsmaier last week.
We’ll update our readers when there’s an official announcement.
