If you’re planning to pick up Battlefield 1 — or already playing it — then you might want to download the free Battlefield app for smartphones and tablets right this moment. In case you’re wondering, yes, this new Battlefield app (simply titled Battlefield Companion) is going to replace Battlelog.
Clocking in at just 60MB, the Battlefield Companion app will not only give players the latest news when it comes to Battlefield games (aside from us), but it will even let you check your multiplayer stats, online friends and even customize your loadouts! That last one is kind of a big deal given you have to be in an actual match to be able to change your loadout in the game.
