DICE has included one of the world’s smallest pistols, the 2mm Kolibri, in Battlefield 1. The tiny gun was spotted by Reddit users in a footage published by YouTube user jackfrags. You can check it out in action below (at around the 7.42 mark).
The Kolibri is a real pistol that was patented by Austrian watchmaker Franz Pfannl in 1910, and introduced in 1914. Manufactured in limited quantity for self defense purposes, it barely did any damage. According to jackfrags, it doesn’t really do much in the video game either.
In other news, DICE has unveiled a new community mission as part of its Road to Battlefield 1 program, giving players a chance to earn M1911 “The Incarcerator” weapon skin and Road to Battlefield 1 Dog Tag in the upcoming title. In order to qualify, you need to get 100 kills with the M1911 in any multiplayer mode/map in either Battlefield 4 or Hardline. Doing so will also get you a Gold Battlepack for the game you choose to complete the mission in. You have until October 17, 2016, 9AM PT to do it.
Battlefield 1 releases on October 21. Stay tuned for our coverage.
