One year on from its initial launch, Rise of the Tomb Raider finally makes its bow on PlayStation 4 today, October 11, via the comprehensive 20 Year Celebration edition.
It’s crammed full with all kinds of nostalgic nuggets, including retro-styled skins for Lara Croft herself. But perhaps the most eye-catching throwback hails from Square Enix EU, which unveiled a copy of Rise of the Tomb Raider housed within a PlayStation 1-era CD case. Sadly, it can’t be purchased, nor is it included in any Collector’s Edition. You can catch a glimpse of said CD case replete with matching manual, below.

Continuing its spotlight of the Tomb Raider series, there’s also a detailed infographic to pour over, which chronicles the rise and rise of Lara Croft since her inception all the way in ’96. It culminates with the release of Rise of the Tomb Raider on PS4, a port that bundles together all DLC, outfits for Lara, weapons, along with a new difficulty setting. PlayStation VR support and a co-op mode were added via a day-one patch.
