A year ago, Koei Tecmo filed a trademark for “Godseekers” in Europe. The company never revealed any projects that included Godseekers in the title but if a new listing by the Australian Classification Board is anything to go by, it’s a Dynasty Warriors game. As spotted by Gematsu, Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers was awarded a PG classification by the authority for “mild fantasy violence and sexualised imagery” just yesterday.
We can’t tell if this is a completely new game or just a localization of Eiketsuden, which launched in Japan in August for the PlayStation 3, PS4 and PS Vita. Koei Tecmo recently celebrated the series’ 15th anniversary and while apologizing for not making any announcements last year, promised a “big” announcement for this year. Well, 2016 is coming to a close and so far we haven’t heard anything so let’s hope this is an indication that we’ll see something soon.
