In his biggest tease yet, Beyond Good & Evil creator Michel Ancel went on Instagram to say that his new game, likely Beyond Good & Evil 2, is now in pre-production.
“Endangered species – now saved – Game in pre-production – Stay tuned !” he wrote alongside the above image.
Although Ubisoft wouldn’t confirm that Beyond Good & Evil 2 is indeed in development, they did confirm that the above artwork is from the game Ancel is working on for them:
Michel is currently sharing his time between Ubisoft and Wild Sheep studios. The artwork he posted is from the game he’s currently working on at Ubisoft. We don’t have anything further to share at this stage.
The Wild Sheep Studios game mentioned by Ubisoft is WiLD, a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
